4th May. 40th Anniversary – 2001: A Space Odyssey. 7pm @ Astor Theatre, corner of Chapel Street & Dandenong Road, St. Kilda.
This is the film that redefined science fiction for modern times. Come along and enjoy the psychedelic imagery in full, glorious 70mm film clarity and then discuss the metaphysical meaning behind it all. This 40th anniversary screening of this classic film is made all the more poignant by the recent death of author Arthur C. Clarke.
